The Power of Functional Nutrition.
Hello, I’m Nadja. My personal health journey began two decades ago, when I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism – a condition where the thyroid gland functions at low level. My doctor informed me that there was no cure, and that I would need to take medication for the rest of my life. However, even with the medication, I continued to experience low energy, cold hands and feet, mood swings, and weight gain.
As a Project Manager and professional problem solver, I believed there had to be a solution out there, and I was determined to find it. I started by focusing on a healthier diet, incorporating regular exercise into my routine, and reducing the stress of juggling a full-time job and caring for three children. While my symptoms gradually improved, I still didn’t feel as healthy as I had before.
One day, a friend introduced me to Functional Nutrition, and I became so fascinated with it that I decided to become a Certified Functional Nutrition Coach and Culinary Nutrition Expert. During this time, I developed a personalized program for myself, and that is when real change began. Within three months, all of my symptoms vanished.
Inspired by my own success, I began to help friends and family with their health issues, and we saw remarkable improvements. As more and more people reached out to me for assistance, I decided to turn my passion into a business and created Eat the Rainbow Functional Nutrition & Cooking. I chose this name because it reflects the fundamental nutritional principle of consuming a diverse range of vegetables and fruits every day.
